World Tour: Intelligent Vehicle Product and Research Trends
Part I: Product Trends
Part II: Research Trends
Workshop on Vision Processing - Optics to Output
This workshop will explore how all the different elements from lenses to imagers to signal processing come together to make intelligent cameras for mass market cars. Hands on exposure to real hardware and software will allow the attendees to see the ease with which kernels can be assembled and an application built on a high performance platform.
The 3rd International Workshop on Vehicle-to-Vehicle Communications (V2VCOM) is being organized by Onur Altintas (firstname.lastname@example.org) and and Wai Chen (email@example.com). For more information, please refer to V2VCOM link.
Workshop on Hybrid Electric Vehicle Modeling and Control is being organized by Tankut Acarman (firstname.lastname@example.org). More information can be found in

The 2007 IEEE Intelligent Vehicles Symposium (IV'07) which is an annual forum sponsored by the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society will take place in Istanbul during June 13-15. The Intelligent Vehicles Symposium gathers researchers from industry and universities to discuss research and applications for Intelligent Vehicles and Intelligent Infrastructures.
Three days of the symposium will be allocated for technical presentations and one additional day will be dedicated to live vehicle demonstrations. The technical presentations are characterized by a single session format so that all attendees remain in a single room for multilateral communication in an informal atmosphere.
Papers dealing with all aspects of vehicle-related intelligent systems and cooperation between vehicles and infrastructures will be solicited for IV'07. The motto for IV'07 is: Lets meet where the continents meet. Istanbul connecting the two continents of Europe and Asia and being a cross-road of civilizations for many centuries is an ideal location for the Intelligent Vehicles Symposium.
Interested attendees may register also to Biennial on DSP for in-Vehicle and Mobile Systems by extending their stay in Istanbul. DSPINCARS is scheduled for June 17-19 June, 2007 after the IV07 symposium.
The symposium venue is the Hilton hotel in Istanbul located at the center of the city.
